Single Side Shades- allow light through the sides as well as top and bottom
however the output is dependent on the weight of the fabric
Double Sided Shades- have the outer layer of fabric with a coordinating pattern on the inside of the shade. This does block the output of the light and the inside pattern often shows through when lit
Fire Resistant - Our lampshade materials have been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association (UK).
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshades. They use less
energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding potential hazards.
